This poster illustrates how America's Red Rock Wilderness Act (ARRWA) contributes to the 30x30 campaign and climate change mitigation. I created this map for the 2021 Esri User Conference's map gallery. The main challenge of this project was finding a way to tell the story of ARRWA and 30x30, which SUWA had already shared as a report and brochure, in a single layout that could be submitted to the map gallery.
At the conference, this map was showcased by Esri's lead cartographers and received two awards: 1st place in the Thematic Map category and a Cartography Special Interest Group award.
