Las Vegas Development Animation

This animation uses USGS land cover data to illustrate the growth of Las Vegas, NV from 1983-2023. To create this, I generated individual maps of the Annual NLCD data product and created a GIF of the maps using Adobe Photoshop.

While GIS software alone could produce a similar result, I used this project to explore the potential of using Photoshop for simple animations. I also did all of the GIS work in QGIS to keep myself sharp with non-ESRI applications.
