San Juan Mountains from Space

This Landsat 8 mosaic shows Colorado's San Juan Mountains after a fall snowstorm. I acquired raw imagery from the USGS and used Photoshop to combine RGB bands and adjust tonal range, contrast, and color balance, and to mosaic multiple images into a single scene.
This piece is meaningful to me because it captures my love of geospatial science, my local mountains, and the beauty of wild spaces. I had this image professionally printed and it is currently the centerpiece of my office.
